Here's last Wednesday's picture:
And this is what it was cropped from:
Buddha's hand citron (ignore the meyers lemon sign LOL, that was for something else. I took the shot in a supermarket)
No one got it right this week, but Michelle was the one that came closest: "It is a food of some sort a root/vegetable kind of food"
The rest of the answers REALLY made me laugh...you should check them out!

And this is what it was cropped from:
It's a thermometer!
Deb R, who's off on a cruise, the lucky dog, was the first: "Tip of a thermometer?"
The only other person to even mention a thermometer was Tommie: "but my other guess is an icicle on an thermometer"
MissMeliss, of course, knows how to get to me: "A lust potion settling into Sev's favorite beaker, after having nearly boiled over because he was distracted by bloggers whispering about him."
So...

Here's last Wednesday's picture:
And this is what it was cropped from:
Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm :-)
One of my friends and I exchanged Christmas Stockings this year...long story short, one of the things in my stocking was 5 tins of this lip balm, so I could have one in my purse, at work, in the car, everywhere and not be without it :-)
Anyyyyway, most every one of you got it right...again! Hmmm...wonder if you guys are just getting smarter? Here's what the first five of you said:
Lisa was the first, altho she wasn't exact: "...green lip gloss in a pot..."
My blogless cousin, Mel: "Lip balm, wax of some kind or you're got quite a cold and what are you saving that stuff for?"
Kandy: "I think it is lip gloss in a container of some kind."
L-Squared: "At first glance it looks like a fingerprint in something like maybe lip gloss"
Sara: "I'm going to say "lip balm"!"
These next two, both medical professionals, made me laugh:
Heather: "It makes me think of a petri dish... :P"
Laura: "hey, what are you culturing there?"

And this is what it was cropped from:
Hot chocolate with marshmallows!!
Again, most every one of you got it right (I can see we're going to have to make this a bit harder)!
DebR was the first: Foamy, yummy hot chocolate with mini-marshmallows melting on top.
Saucy had the funniest comment: "Orphaned mini-mallows. The giant puffy ones ran away with the cherries."
So...

Here's last Wednesday's picture:
And this is what it escaped from:
Yummy, delicious cashews!
Almost every one of you got it right!
Goofy Girl: Looks like it is a nut!! (ok, she wasn't specific, but she's cute and she does a HELLUVA blog design!!!)
Robin: "Ooh, ooh, it's a cashew! (Hey, that rhymes LOL.)"
Laura: Yep, Im going to have to go with cashew - salted of course!
Dyane: A lone cashew, acting as a distraction so that the rest can escape before being munched!
Michelle, who's currently blogless, said very succintly: "It's a cashew."
MaryEllen, more commonly known as ME, who is also blogless, said: Oh thank goodness its a cashew, I was feeling so sorry for that little Travelocity gnome fella.
Mel, my blogless cousin, was the last; she said: It looks like a cashue to me.
Susan had the funniest one: "Dammit, I always knew I'd lose my nose the minute it wasn't attached to my face!"
On this, the first Wednesday of 2008, L-Squared, my co-contributer, has provided the picture!
